The LUNASON Artistic Residency offers composers, musicians, and artists the opportunity to engage intensively with the LUNASON instrumentarium and the Metasonic Sound. Discover new instruments, explore playing techniques, investigate acoustic phenomena, develop musical material, analyze sounds, or simply have time to listen, experiment, and follow new artistic paths.
The residency creates space for artistic research, exploration and development.

Every artistic process is different.
Therefore, each residency is individually designed. It can be an initial intensive introduction to the instruments, a phase of compositional research, the preparation of a new work, or an in-depth exploration of a specific aspect of the Metasonic Sound.
Duration, focus and choice of instruments will be individually tailored to your project.

WORK AT LUNASON
The residency takes place at LUNASON Studios in Pratteln. Here you have direct access to the instruments, the Metasonic Resonators, and LUNASON's workspaces. Upon request, we offer introductions to the instruments, provide technical and artistic background information, and support your exploration of acoustic possibilities. The aim is not to dictate an artistic direction, but rather to create the conditions in which something new can emerge.
