LUNASON EDITIONS

CURATOR

Prof. Francesco Maria Paradiso

Composer · Researcher · Professor of Composition

CURATORIAL PERSPECTIVE

For Francesco Maria Paradiso, musical thinking begins with sound itself. For him, sound is not merely the result of a composition, but simultaneously material, form, and a space of perception. His work moves between instrumental composition, acoustics and psychoacoustics, electronic music, new technologies, and musical analysis. At its core lies the question of how sound can be heard, understood, shaped, and translated into new musical contexts. This approach also informs his work for LUNASON Editions: score, analysis, research, and documentation are understood as different approaches to one and the same musical phenomenon—sound.

PARADISO × LUNASON

"The LUNASON instruments open up new avenues to auditory perception."
