Double Bass
The LUNASON double bass is welded from a special metal alloy. The fingerboard is made of wood and installed by a double bass maker and is thus identical to a usual fingerboard of a traditional double bass. Therefore, the double bass by LUNASON is directly playable for every double bass player.
DOUBLE BASS
The metallic body significantly changes the spectrum of the bass instrument. Other overtones than usual are stimulated by the string vibrations and become audible. This double bass is characterised by a particularly spectral, spatial and cathedral sound. Harmonics are strongly supported by the metal surfaces and thus become intense and radiant. The basic tuning of the four strings is identical to that of a traditional 4-string double bass: E1,A1,D2,G2.
