Course description
The Stage Is Yours: Participants become interpreters and creators of a soundscape that emerges in the moment. The course guides participants from their first encounter with the instruments to a collaboratively developed concert or performance. The stage becomes a space for discovery, expression, and shared musical action. LUNASON in Concert brings the LUNASON instruments directly into a shared musical process. The course focuses on the experience of developing a unique musical situation for the stage using unfamiliar instruments, new timbres, and diverse forms of interplay. Participants become familiar with selected LUNASON instruments, discover their sonic possibilities, and experience how new musical structures can develop through interplay. The aim is not to reproduce an existing repertoire, but rather to create a unique musical language through listening, reacting, and collaborative creation. Improvisation, musical communication, presence, and conscious awareness of others are central elements of the course. Sounds are tried out, combined and further developed, roles within the ensemble emerge and change, and from individual impulses a shared musical whole grows step by step.
